More details at www.savevinod.com Doctors found a donor and donor agreed to proceed with marrow/stem cell donation process. We went to Seattle for transplant treatment. All physical and other tests were done on donor and he is about to give marrow/stem cells in a week and unfortunately in last minute he dropped out saying that he had some personal problems. We came back to our home with heavy heart. I don’t know who the donor is. Here they keep everything very confidential. Donor doesn’t know who is patient and patient doesn’t know who is donor. Doctors just told me that donor is 37 year old male, Indian, b+ blood group. Mamalu, please don’t make any comments on donor, this is my humble request to all of you. He might have his own problems. Now the only thing in our hands is conduct more drives as soon as possible. Please conduct more drives for me. National marrow donor program will pay all the expenses to the donor. 99% donor no need to travel anywhere for donation process as National marrow donor program has donor centers in all over USA except small towns and villages. National marrow donor program instruct the donor which donor center to go depending on where donor is living, the donor center will collect the marrow/stem cells and send them to the patent's hospital.
