BTW one good news for OPT guys is... if you OPT is expiring in say June of this year. And you have filed for H1 b along with change of status. Then, u will be automatically given OPT extension till H1 B petition is either approved/rejected. | ||

I checked yesterday the I 765 form. it has a new question for people applying for 17 month extension. Question is as below Its question 17 17. If you entered the Eligibility Category, (c)(3)(C), in item 16 above, list your degree, your employer's name as listed in E-Verfy, and your employer's EVerify Company Identification Number or a valid E-Verify Client Company Identification Number in the space below. Degree: Employer's Name as listed in E-Verify: Employer's E-Verify Company Identification Number or a valid E-Verify Client Company Identification Number (I think this is the end client if you are into consulting) They have ample scope to match the degree with the job..etc and also employer needs to be in the everify list. |
