its just cake walk. once the NAS is hooked up to network, run the CD which comes along with NAS on any home computer and just follow the on screen instructions. once you are done, you can access NAS via browser. then you can configure, administer all other activities. i brought both NAS and drive from amazon. www.prajarajyam.org - The account has been suspended. | ||

Yes there are. But most of the stores generally dont go for this transition when they have the VHS recorder already. Ofcourse its been 7yrs I had in touch with a store.. Nah. 495 is a NAS with media server for other clients. In fact, there is no video card in 495. So, you can not connect it to monitor/tv to watch any media. All the media is streamed over network to clients like ps3/xbox or even better a HTPC. | ||

you can't compare NAS with HTPC. synology is NAS, where as 495 is HPTC. nas = is just to share data, files where ever you are.
