Really canada is heaven for immigrants..
Public daycares charge 7$ per day.
Even if you send your kid to private, depending on your income ( < 120K ), you can get back 55% of it you paid.. and private usually charges upto 35$ per day so, it comes to 16$ per day.

Guys
looking for some info in living conditions of San Jose..

1/ Elementary schools and their infrastructure? Daycare?
--> I know the standard is good but heard infra is not good.. schools are small
2/ RE affordability and apartment rental.
--> Looks like median price is 550 K.. Is it for new ones or 10-year old? how much does it cost for a 2bdrm apartment?
3/ Traffic? How clogged are the highways?
--> Heard it is nightmare
4/ Are there schools that offer continuing education programs that offer programs in accounting? Their affordability?

In my current place, daycare costs just 7$ per day.. max 20$ per day.
Elementary schools are okay except it is bilingual - english and french.
Traffic is heavy but everything is very nearby.
Schools are very cheap and they offer great programs - only sky is the limit.
Good employment opportunities for accounting kind of jobs.. and okay market for tech.

Thanks
