maybe in the future we will see more restrictions on how we obtain music.. pirated cds, downloading songs from free sources might be a strict no no.. i guess the right kind of privacy and piracy restrictions are yet to be defined on the internet. I guess it is an untapped industry where there are no laws/rules about what can and cannot be uploaded. AFAIK, you can happily RIP the cd, dvds, BRs as long as you own that disc and keep the rips just with you (not distributing them). Truelies, try reading the rants about some DRM technologies. Copyright vs piracy is a very thin line. When I buy a CD, I paid for it and I want to store a copy of it in my backup HD. I don't have to worry about losing the CD or damaging the CD. Some companies might not want us to do that. But as a legitimate customer who bought it, I want to. An idea is like a Virus. | ||

iPods, iPhones, etc all work with only one computer/itunes combo. To make a iPhone work with multiple computers, you can accomplish it with some itunes confugration files editing and all, but it is a pain in the ***. In this aspect, iPhone sucks BIG TIME. Also, getting content out of iPhone is a pain too. If your iTunes gets messed up or you loose your library folder for any reason (even if your computer is fine), you are royally screwed. What a pain to retrieve content out of your iPhone. My view, SJ is a freaking sadist to make his paying customers go through all this. Interface and user experience wise, iPhone rocks. | ||

Nenu Iphone or samsung galaxy s.. android phone kondam anukuntunna obviously ATT subscriber. I know I had seen a few threads on iphones and androids in the past. Meeku mee smart phone lo nacchindi and nacchanidi chepte.. it will help me make a good decision. Right now I am leaning towards android. |
