day time alanti soaps vastay.. evening times anni rakala dance and singing show.. ivi miss aithe movies.. idi india lo tanthu.. maybe some big production house like HBO india could start something like this in hindi.. and slowly telugu and others will catch up.. I dont think today's telugu TV channels are going to change what they are doing to bring a new kind of TV show.. Over the weekend, mana indian tv channels lo programs choostaa unte oka brilliant idea ochhindi. Most of these programs/serials suit only to housewives or older generation. Manaki asalu ekkavu. So what you do is, maanchi varma style crime drama series thiyyi or raayi. There will be a huge market for this. Daily serial type kaakundaa, biweekly or monthly oka episode vadalachhu. TV serials lo as an artist you will have good freedom. In usa appudeppudo 'Sopranos' ani oka series ochhedi.. oka range lo nadisindi anta.. nenu eppudoo choodaledu. but its a god father theme.. So our theme would be in the lines of Gayam/Nayakudu/Company or even seema factionism.. And dont take this as a normal tv series.. movie laagaane thiyyaali with good camera work and all.
