Back to Calif campus Two hours after the class "So how did you like the class?" asked Jane "It was good. But i didn't understand many things as i am new to economics" Jane nodded her head and smiled. "Can i join you guys for lunch?" he requested Richa was about to throw an excuse but she was too late. "Ohh sure... we are going to get something from the subway across the street" "Cool. Let's go" Few minutes later three of them were sitting in Subway. Richa was not at all happy with the way things are going. She could sense some kind of danger... her sixth sense was telling her to run away from there... Later in the night, Jane came over to Richa's room for sleep over. Both of them were getting ready to hit the bed when they heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Jane shouted without moving from the bed. No answer. Again a knock on the door. Jane got up and opened the door. She was shell shocked. Richa almost screamed. "What the F are you doing here?" asked Jane. Now even she started getting tensed. "Close the door Jane. I am calling the cops" "No, please don't. I just came here to discuss what i didn't understand in the class today" answered Sunny. "Are you out of your F'ing mind?" asked Jane furiously. Richa picked up her phone to dial 911. Jane closed the door on him and locked from inside. After calling 911, she also called their dean. Few minutes later, cops arrested him and took him to the car. Dean also came to the spot. Inside the car, one of the officer asked Sunny "What are you doing at Girls dorms?" "I came here to discuss some doubts from the economics class" "Do you know that, boys are not allowed inside the girl's dorms in the night?" "Yeah.. but these doubts were bothering me so much... i had to get some answers" "Kiddo, if you don't answer stright then we will have to take you with us" "No sir. I am not kidding" They got out of the car and explained everything to Dean and told him that they are arresting him and taking with them. But Sunny didn't see Dean. If he had seen him, then story might have gone in a different direction. After reaching police station, Sunny begged them to give him a chance to prove his innocence. After few hours cops said, "We can give you access to one telephone call" Sunny didn't want to call his parents as he didn't want them to know about all this mess. So he choose to call someone else. "Please get me this number xxxxxxxxx" One of the officer dialed the number and gave it to Sunny. Someone came on line... "Stan Khutrowsky here" "MrDean, This is Sunny. Sunny from... " "I know you Sunny. Wt do you want?" Sunny explained what happened and requested for his help. "Thank you for the information Sunny. Unfortunately, i can't help you here" disconnected the call. Sunny was shocked. He has lost the chance. Now, he can't call any one else. He wanted to call his dad now.. but it was too late. Present Iyer landed in LA few hours later in the night and went straight to the police along with Amar. Cops explained everything to MrIyer and told him that Sunny might need some help. Iyer didn't agree with them just like any other father. My Sunny doesn't have any problems. He is a smart kid. He won national science award at the age of 14. I agree that, his behavior in this incident is strange but he is definitely not mentally ill. If he really likes something then he doesn't leave it easily. And if he doesn't understnad something then he won't even eat, drink or sleep till he get's all the answers. And he went for more than an hour trying to support his son. But officer's didn't buy any of that. Finally, Iyer arranged for the bail but another 24 hours passed by then. And those 24 hours were very important. Sunny looked completely different by the time he came out of the jail. Even Amar was surprised to see a different Sunny. So he asked one of the officers "He didn't look like this 2 days ago?" What happened to him?" Officer: "It is quite normal for people to behave strangely after 2 days in the dark room" Finally, Sunny opened his mouth and screamed "I am not a Psycho.. I am not a Psycho... " No matter what Iyer and Amar asked... Sunny just replied "I am not a Psycho.." Tears started rolling down for both Iyer and Amar. Sunny was running around in circles in the parking lot and continued shouting "I am not a Psycho.." THE END !! If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||

Two Days Ago.. Students Library, Calif Tech Univ Richa and Jane were discussing some paper on modern economics and globalization etc. Both of them have been working on a project from last one month. Sunny was sitting opposite to them and was reading a book on string theory. He couldn't help but hear some arguments between Richa and Jane on some principles of economics. He closed his book and started listening to their discussion. They didn't notice him at first... "Jane is right" he said it aloud and smiled. "Wt?.." Richa looked at him quizzically. "I am sorry. I couldn't help but overhear your discussion... i apologize" Richa and Jane looked at each other and then looked at Sunny. They couldn't recollect seeing him before. "Hi.. i am Sunny" he introduced himself. He continued "I didn't know that economics would be so interesting.." They simply smiled and returned to their papers. 2 mins later.. Sunny got up and walked around the table and sat next to Richa. Now what? questioned Richa with her eyes. "Do u guys mind if i join you in this discussion?" "Is this a new pickup line? If yes, it sucks.. go get a life dude" responded Jane. "No, i am serious... i've never read anything about economics. I am doing my major on nuclear physics" And then he went on to explain his other credentials, student awards etc. Both of them were impressed with this accomplishments. Slowly they started developing some soft corner on him... They had no clue what they were in for next day at school. Next day at school Richa and Jane agreed to meet in the class little earlier so that they can finalize the paper. So they came 30 minutes early to the class. Both of them were utterly surprised to see Sunny there. He was sitting alone reading something. They looked at each other and walked in to the class. "Hey.. gals" greeted Sunny enthusiastically. "Hi" "Hello" "What are you doing here?" questioned Richa. "As i said, I have suddenly developed some interest on economics. So i wanted to try couple of classes..." "What about your class? Don't you have one?" quizzed Jane. "I do. But i don't seem to like Physics anymore.." Both of them didn't buy it. It is obvious that he was there to meet them. Both of them started thinking "who is trying to hit on?" But they didn't say any thing out loud. Few minutes later... some more guys joined the class. Except one or two, nobody cared about the presence of a new guy. And those tho noticed him preferred to ignore him and mind their business. Richa tried to look at him to see whether he is staring at them or not. But he wasn't... he seem to be lost in some thoughts... Two hours later... He met them again outside the class. Their suspicion on him reduced a bit as he didn't make any scene in the class. But it didn't last long... {Back to present} Gayatri started asking a serious of questions to Iyer as soon as he reached home. Unfortunately, he didn't have answer to any of her questions. So he preferred to remain silent. He went to his Son's room to check if he can find any of his friend's numbers. After searching for 20 mins he found couple of numbers. He tried calling one of them immediately. Someone answered the call. "Amar?" "Yes, who is this?" "Hello, this Ramanujam Iyer from Boston. I am Sunny's dad" "Ohh.. hello Mr.Iyer. We have been trying to find your number from yesterday. But none of us had your contact details. I am so sorry.." "What happened? Why are you saying sorry? What happened to Amar?" "I am afraid, i have some bad news... But no need to panic..." Amar was trying to calm him. "Amar... Is Sunny safe? Any accident" "No No MrIyer. Sunny is safe. No accidents. But there was a small incident at school 2 days ago..." Amar explained what ever he knew. "Ok, Thanks Amar. I am taking next flight to LA. Can you please pick me up at the airport?" "Sure, MrIyer. Let me know once you have the flight number. Don't worry. Everything will be ok" He knows it is of no use saying these words over the phone but just wanted to say it anyway. Iyer packed his bags and rushed to airport. He called his secretary and asked her to book a ticket for him to LA in the next available flight. Friday, Aug 06th, 2010 Some police station near Calif Tech Univ Sunny: "Officer, please listen to me. I am not a Psycho. I am not. I come from a traditional Indian family". Officer: "Save your energy for the trail kiddo. It's going to be a long one..." Sunny: "At least, give me a chance to call someone" Officer: "We already did... we are not authorized to give another chance" Sunny: "Please officer... i don't know why dean acted that way" Officer: "I apologize. But i can't help it..." Sunny: "So do i need to stay in jail for the whole week?" He was losing patience... Officer: "Yes" 2 other officers joined him. They were wearing slightly different uniforms... One of them removed handcuffs from his belt and walked towards Sunny. Sunny couldn't believe what was happening to him. His heart started beating more rapidly after looking at the handcuffs... One of the officer walked towards him and said "Raise your hands" 2 mins later they escorted him into a dark room and locked the door. Sunny was screaming his lungs out as they walked away from the door. They weren't surprised... They go through this ordeal everyday. Few thousand miles away... Advanced nuclear physics lab, Boston, MA Ramanujam Iyer was trying to clear all his email and was getting ready to go home. He usually leaves early on Friday's to take his daughter to Indian Music class. His cell phone started ringing... At the someone walked in to his office. "Mr. Iyer.." He was still struggling to find his cell phone from his bag. "Mr Iyer... I need to talk to you for a min" "Give me a min... it must be my Son. I have been trying to reach him from yesterday.." But it wasn't him. Cell phone read "Gayatri Calling.." It was from his wife. He silenced the phone and attended to the Visitor. "Yes, how can i help you?" "I was just wondering if you could review my paper before i send it to Mr.Hagens" "Sure, not a problem" He took the papers from her and kept in his bag. He tried calling his son Sunny one more time. Still no answer. It was strange... Sunny always returns the call promptly or at least texts him saying he will call later. But there was no response from him since yesterday. His mom was getting worried. He didn't have any of Sunny's friends numbers handy. Probably i should check his room to see if i can find any of his buddies numbers, he thought. Cafe @ Calif Tech Univ Few girls were gossiping and having fun... "So... wt do u guys think? Movie or bowling?" asked Sarah. "No.. No bowling for me. My arm still hurts.." said Jenny. "Yeah.. i will vote for movie too" said Richa. "Aren't you going back to Library?" Sarah asked teasingly. "Not funny..." Richa said furiously.
