u know y nasar was decent in puli when everyone else is just plain loud n obnoxious n insane??? if u observe nazar is growing a funk in his ears....he has big , thick , silky hair coming out of his ears...at first when i saw that i was like wtf is wrong with this moron? cant he respect the audience and trim his hair in ears n represent himself properly? Then as the movie proceeded i understood the genius of nazar...that sneaky mofo read the script n he knew what he was pitted against....he has to stand there n listen to nonstop verbal tirade from pk or manoj or saranya....so he started to prepare for his character by growing hair in his ears....and the hair shielded him from the dialogues of other lead characters....so he can still act like he listened n yet act sane....that ear hair was his defense mechanism.... | ||

was the reviews positive? Really? Live review ayite (like Simmam review) ekadam ekkuva vuntundi b'coz u r doing brain dumps as you watch each frame. Writing after watching the movie ante the reactions are a little tempered. I got really annoyed at PK's performance. He tried to do a tempered, measured performance but again and again he would slip into his age old hyper voogadam and all those inaudible, unfathomable speeches was like what the hell really. All of you guys who are complaining about this point are missing more important aspect. There is a very good reason for casting artists/technicians/singers etc from diff state. Earlier even i used to wonder the same. Why import non-locals when you have abundant local talent. But then i heard some interesting perspective from couple of senior film personalities (in interviews) and it made perfect sense. Anyway, the said reason is - to get freshness. Let's you have a script in which father char is very important then you can blindly go with prakash raj or get someone else for the role. If the script is extraordinary (aka bommarillu) then it still looks fresh even if you cast PR. But if the script is not that great then with PR it will look routine char. HOnestly, Simha is 10 times better than Puli. sorry to all fans. Simha is just a predictable mass movie with lots of bad words which is a turn off. Otherwise it was okay. Puli OTOH came when people have huge expectations on PK. The story was decent enuff, but the execution was terrible. The heroine, the songs, the dances, the fights, PK's moustache, PK's dialogue delivery. One big what the EFF. Whatever happened to making a sincere movie?!? First Scene: I thought it was hilarious that Saranya was talking to god and asking her how she is going to take care of baddies and next minute there is a graphic dot going into Saranyaâs tummy and she pukes. Lo behold, she knows she is pregnant and her son is the avatara purushudu. Only in desi movies ⦠First fight: Where do I start. First itâs a casino royale copy. The focus was more on making PK look stylish than like an actual officer. How come he is the only one chasing? One minute then are running empty handed, next minute PK has a n AK47 in his hand? And then they fly off the damn building. With all due respect to PK, Ganesh cinema lo potti ram better ga chooyincharu jumping off a building. And then again PK produces a gun out of no where and when he shoots the guy, how the hell was he in the middle of the air and put his gun back where? And the next minute he has some sort of BIG gun in his hand. Sheesh. I mean PK is some kinda magician to make guns appear out of nowhere and make them disappear as quickly as they appeared. The award ceremony: When he gets the award, why the heck is walking all the way from the back of the hall? Every frame of the movie was about elevating PK the police officer than a realistic movie. One minute he is talking like an IPS officer, next minute he says lesudu, posudu, tagudu. There is no consistency. I mean is he talking to his fans or is he talking like an IPS officer? And that speech was man, loooooooooog. As usual I was two timing and when he starts saying âikkada vunteâ âikkada vunteâ, I had to look up what the ikkada is. Apparently PK was pointing to his head and saying tallo vunte. I guess he is trying to say where there is a will there is a way. Why do they think pointing to the head and saying ikkada vunte is some kind of mass appealing thing? Heroine: May be naa type lo sincere officer kanapadite love lo padata annadu. Auto driver cinema lo vijayasanti type lo fighting chese SI vesham lo pilla kanipinchina ventane, puli & amma puli giving meaningful looks. ee ammayi ki ee cinema lo okko reel ki oka mascara bottle ayipinchi vuntaru. Her eyes can't talk one more drop of mascara if they tried harder. PK's meesam looks bad. pedda caterpillar ettinattu vundi. His acting didn't change one bit in 3 years. ade voogudu, vagudu. asahyam ga aada pillani kottadam ento. aa ventane aa sutti song start avatam ento. kharma kharma. This is probably when most people went for a ciggy break. Oka sari ikkada okasari ikkada okasari ikkada â thatâs all I understood when PK was talking to Naser. What exactly was he saying any way, other than that where there is a will there is a way? Asala speed ga matldte maha stylish ga vuntadi ani PK ki cheppina SUNTA evvadu? Everyone in this movie talks too much. Manoj Bajpai ki kooda anni dialogues kavala? Why canât he be just a bad guy and shoot shoot shoot? Manoj Bajpaiâs looks as bad as Giribabuâs sideburns in Subhaparadam movie. You have to see that movie to believe me. How did those baddies with musgulu fly on to the walls of the house from their van? Em sodhi fights. Why is PK dressed like a cowboy all of a sudden? Did he really have time to fight the bad guys, and at the same time wear a cape and a cowboy hat. Does he have 4 hands and 2 heads like all our gods? Why did they have to make this movie SOOOOOOOOOO comical? I took a very long ciggy break during Shriyaâs song. What a shame that she was a heroine only 3 years ago and now she is down to doing item songs. Another homage to Daniel Craig: At the end of the next big fight PK pays homage to Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. Or if you are not a fan, you can say âhe lifted the scene from casino royale where Daniel Craig walks up to the house hoisting the AK47 â. Took another break when Saranya started talking to Manoj Bajpai. I come back and she is still talking. What the !!!! Hero amma ki kooda inni dialogue la? Cinema lo sangati lekunte ila andarru loda loda vagutuntaru ani ee cinma choosala artham ayyindi. And if you didnât believe that Naser is going to give her a salute after her long lecture, you havenât learned enough from watching all the telugu movies that you have watched ï Naser's death: I was going to say PK was speaking much better in his speech after Naserâs death but by God! Why is he giving a speech? He is no politician, he is a police officer. Edurugga tandri poyi oka kutumbam edustunte manodu loda loda loda blah glah blah. I am sure the dialogues he uttered in that scene are very meaningful, but they are in the wrong place and oh btw, he started speaking at Shatabdi express speed by the end of the speech. Final Scene: Chitika veste villain rechipoyi anni rahasyalu kakkestadu. Can you imagine a more clever tactic used by an IPS officer ever to lure a baddy? May be Krishna Manohar IPS can use the same trick in Pokiri-2 Manoj Bajpai just about broke PKâs back with that whatever thing and PK is now sitting up and giving a lonnnnnnnng speech. What the heck, like really! How many more speeches do people have to sit through? And then the movie takes a 90 degree turn to mythology. Valla amma edchnidita. Aa tear drop bhoomiki tagulutune, oka graphic something something vachi PK ni nidra lepindata. Ento ento ento Ee cinema lo naku baga vinipinchina words â âikkada vunte (pointing at his head)â , â Manoj Bajpaiâs ekkada ekkada ekkadaâ. Ika rest of the dialogues are all blah glah blah glah blah. May be someone can find a way to slow down all that PK talks and put them on youtube for people with hearing disabilities (like me). Ee cinema lo okkaru anna movie lo chittasuddhi tho, buddhi tho valla pani vallu cheyyaledu. Thatâs really a shame considering that there was no movie from PK in years. Heroine matram charana ki bharana action chesindi. Naser and Saranya were decent. mahammmaya song makes you want to dance. Choreography matram naa bondha la vuntadi. Placement of songs is incredibly bad. That was like a copy-paste job gone wacko in MS office. Editing bad. Choreography bad. Graphics bad. SJ surya should stick doing whatever he does good rather than pretend to write and direct films. PK should do I donât-know-what. I hope everyone in the industry that are his friends gave him a very long lecture after watching this movie. If anyone said to himie movie bagundi, allani PK should never believe again.
