ff : i hear you! nadal is one of the most mentally strong players ever. i was not saying he has no chance to win uso. my point is that uso is hardest slam to win, like french was for most great players. that way nadal is like borg. borg made uso finals and won 0. nadal actually has great chance to win uso this year but his window of opportunity is closing. he definitely was helped by murray/nalby/berdy losing early. just like roger was helped last year by nadal's loss @ french. right now fedders is 55% in my odds to win his 6th usopen. nadler @ 40, djoko @ 4.99 and the field @ 0.01. @ipc : fed should make it in straights. he is playing his 3rd lefty in 4rounds. he should be well prepared for nadal. if the conditions are hot and the winds are down, he might even straight set nadal. that is too far ahead though. fed needs to keep the rythm going and i hope soderling or djoko get taken out. it's only fair.
