People who feel Chiranjeevi is earning crores by starting Blood Bank, Please read this article To find HIV is in blood or not the test used to done is MELLISSA.MELLISSA test for one unit (300ml) costs around Rs. 300/- for CCT or any other blood bank. Tests: Test for Blood grouping, Malaria, Allergy, Surgeries, WBC Count etc., will cost around Rs. 200/-.Forget about the Blood Bank maintenance expenses and Salaries, To give free blood to one person, It will cost around Rs.500/- for any blood bank bcz the tests mentioned above are a compulsion.Apart from these, some partients need only Plasma, few people require only Red Cells. Enquire in any blood bank, they will charge another 200-300 extra. Subsidy: For making ONE rupee coin it costs 1.24 paise, out of which 24 paise is subsidy given by the government.One point to be noted here is there are no subsidies given by the government for Blood Banks. Blood banks are dependent on the funds collected from outside to bear the expenses. How much Blood Banks collect?? We will take Red Cross as example, If you require blood from Red Cross, You have to go with the requisition letter from the Doctor, you have to pay 400/- for one unit (300ml) of blood. Apart from this they will collect one unit (300ml) from your family, relatives or friends because people who donate blood are less and people who require blood are more.You may ask, We already gave blood why should we pay money?? It’s a foolish question, bcz the 400/- you are paying is for the tests. In this process Red Cross is spending another 100/- from their pocket as ur paying or they are collecting only 400/- How much Chiranjeevi Blood Bank is collecting?? ONly Rs.350/- ante it’s collecting Rs.50/- less than Red Cross which has funds from all over the world.CCT won’t accept funds from any other organizations or individuals. Who will get Free Blood?? 1. Person who carries white ration card. 2. Government Hospitals or Government Aided Hospitals 3. Blood donor’s family within 3 months 4. Regular Blood donor 5. People who are below poverty line (as per SSID) Who will get Free Blood with out Replacement?? 1.
