So, I posted that thread what CBN said in 1982 Actually CBN's statement was-- ah election lo "opposite ga sontha mama nilabadina, I will contest against him. Party party ne mama mame". Then when he lost in the election he moved his base to Tirupathi and started building a lodge there and started concentrating on business without bothering about politics. He was not part of NTRs coterie during NTR's initial CM days. But it was told that Nadendla was all along hoping that NTR would remain party president and make him CM. Since that didn't happen, he tried to mislead NTR on couple of occasions to just give an impression that NTR can't rule. One example being reducing the retirement age to 55 for state govt. employees. Since Nadendla suggested NTR okayed, but when the GO came he was heavily criticised. That NTR it seems felt that his own advisors are misleading him and wanted someone from his family to be part of his advisor. So he immediately called CBN(who was an ex-minister) and made him party secretary.... | ||
