Dear Nri friends during your trip to India from overseas please don't waste your money on buying cheesy stuff for your friends , relatives and of course to your family members. Please buy some productive stuff for them rather than cheap china made stuff which would last for weeks. Also stop buying those silly small stuff which looks awkward where they sell it in baskets or what so ever . Though most of things are expensive its better you guys buy it which is worth wile and also please don't waste money on buying heaps chocolates or silly gifts made in china or else where in Asia. Rather buy some educational CDs ROM's or nice decent clothes for kids (please don't buy blaring or awkward colors) Believe me these meticulous things do make a difference. Also please buy some nice electronic gadgets for your households in India. Nice branded sports wear to clothes and etc. Finally for your girl friends or sisters buy some decent cosmetics or dresses. But don't go over the board by buying silly stuff by demoralizing your personnel standard. I know in India there are so many silly people who might find a simple product made in overseas very amazing. So please don't follow this concept and please broaden your minds. For mums buy some nice towels to linen apparel in the bedroom etc. If one cannot make it please get some latest fashion magazine and catch a glimpse of nice stuff. Take care guys Cheers Darren |
