Jalsa:At&T includes Ambarella chips in their home security package.
Amba launched product with HEVC compression for ultra HD which will help in broadcast infrastructure. Their infra sector revenues were virtually zero last year. It's a very high margin business. All year they were saying this sector is soft in Europe as they are waiting for the compression to get better. Hopefully if revenues start from that sector, growth will be more.
Google helpouts tho tieup undindhi, but it's going nowhere annaaru. Nest labs bought Dropcam, another amba customer, and they are hoping nest will continue with AMBA new products.

Margin of safety is only for entry point because as the business grows at 25%/annum so will the stock price.

If you are confident that mgmt can execute the plan and deliver 20 - 25% growth then you should add more.
Margin of safety is only for entry point because as the business grows at 25%/annum so will the stock price.

Pipeline:n all three cases employee is exercising the options. first one is to exercise and buy (paying the strike price x # of options) and hold. second one is to exercise and sell (you get the difference between strike price and sell price x # of shares), third is to exercise and sell just enough numbers of options (i.e., shares) such that the amount goes to buy all the remaining stock coming from vested options. third option works out if the option is way deep in the money. generally stock options vest in 4 years and expire in 10 years.
RSUs: issued to eligible employees every year. they have a 3 year holding period. these are not real stock but phantom stock. its used as a retention tool mostly. say an employee got 1,000 shares on Dec 1, 2015; they are eligible to cash out on Dec 1, 2018. there will be a strike price but it's irrelevant. in this 3 year period, dividends will be added as additional stock. so at the end of third year, including dividends let's say you have 1,050 shares. then you get 1,050 x last 20 days average price prior to Dec. 1, 2018. Total amount will be paid out (of course net of taxes). it's an expense (under salaries & wages) to the company and no stock dilution.

especially designer brands. I use Brooks Brothers suits all the time. I never buy at an outlet store because you can tell the difference. even the label is different, outlet store will have something like 346 on the label; regular store comes like 1818 etc.. |

Oka stock gurinchi research cheyalantey entha time paduthundho asalu. I've been looking into AMBA in-depth. From the history in their web site to their 10-k's and each 10-q and make notes on that (of course i'm not making notes but saying) and going through their transcripts to see if they are accomplishing what they mention in their calls. Thanks brother. Let's say the company granted 100 options of their stock to a employee at a strike price of 10$. Now, by next year, the stock doubles to $20, in this case, the employee can buy at $10 and hold.

Stock purchase plan: employees contribute a certain allowed amount per pay check into stock purchase plan. It's again kind of secondary stock issue from company's perspective and they are raising cash by selling stock to employees. |
