Not that insane because they are not new companies. they already had proven revenue. They lost their revenue to COVID so these are directly hit by COVID. IF they can sustain until no COVID, they will be back. And that is what market is saying, it is betting on pre Covid environment soon and ability of these companies to stay afloat until then | ||

With sector rotation started last 2 weeks, it's clear money managers are taking profits and exiting tech stocks and high growth stocks like TSLA, Shopify, Peloton etc. Last time this sector rotation occurred all major tech stocks were down 20%+ (it was during Trump China trade war and Powell interest rate hikes) Be very very careful as overnight funds are moving billions so pre-market we might see 5% or more drops. Biden new stimulus is gifting money to airlines, hospitality etc. So huge money flowing there. Powell might also announce that interest rates will start going up 2022 and fed will ease balance sheet later this year. All this means be very careful with your trades and follow big money flows and options flows (example massive AAPL PUTS or CALL bets in the millions) if you see such massive bets you can decipher where money managers are going next. HINT: they are going for airlines, travel, theme parks, movies etc. Expect Disney, AMC, old school real estate REITS, Malls etc. To jump up into summer months. It's insane that Carnival cruises with $0 revenue is almost on par with their pre-covid stock price. Same with Hilton, Marriott they are above their pre-covid prices with 50% revenues. Goes to show power of money managers and funds to move the market. |
