Sure, we will see. You are underestimating how much anti Modi has after farmer protests. Only reason it has not gone to South India is media control by Ambani and because our politicians have made it into a nationalist issue rather than a serious issue. Please don't take my comments as anti-TDP. I am just trying to see a path forward. You cannot win elections without social media these days and even Modi is learning with farmers protests power of social media where he can control news media but not social media as Facebook, Google etc. Are American companies and cannot be censored like Indian media. I have seen nothing but positive coverage for Jagan in social media. This is a fact no one seems to care from TDP. It's as if they are happy with eenadu and AJ positive coverage and live in that bubble. Next election will show true picture of my points. Modi will get a shock of his life when he sees election results all thanks to his stupid farmer non-populist ruling. Everywhere in social media even his staunch supporters are unable to defend him here. Same thing will happen to TDP. They had one great shot to prove themselves and failed. Now with Jagan dismantling Amaravati, its going to be even worse as they can't even campaign saying "Jagan failed to build Amaravati we will finish the job" Nor can they ever win SC/ST vote bank. Even with BSP support for JSP we saw how much Jagan got last time with everyone against him. I think Andhra might become like West Bengal where YSRCP will rule for 15+ years. The stage is perfect for Jagan especially if Modi loses next election there will be zero opposition or cash coming into Andhra. Yes except kamma youth (very very low minority) no real social media following for TDP. Another big blow is next generation kamma youth in USA no longer have roots in India or care about Andhra politics like their parents did. This means TANA, ATA etc. Associations will no longer provide strong financial muscle to TDP like they have in the past as generations shift. All these and several other reasons means it's basically over for CBN. Any way we look at it, his best shot was last election. If KCR could win 2ND term, there was a massive underlying miscalculation on CBN part where generally when new state is formed, incumbency wins multiple terms. Already Heritage foods stock is down massively which means even investors have left them. | ||

I don't think anti incumbency is a factor as much as before. MEDIA is fully biased one way or another and everyone knows this now to some level. So social media has become critical for honest exchange of thoughts and ideas. TDP is a dinosaur party when it comes to social media. Maybe it has to do with caste equations also. Jagan has excellent social media following might be because of his SC/ST following but this gives him huge positive coverage outside of Sakshi. Lokesh I don't know why has bad memes on him as a pappu. Its shocking for CBN the so called technology man to not spend money to make Lokesh image in social media better. It's so bad now, damage has been done. Also, with split states it makes it even more easier for Jagan to do social welfare schemes targeted to specific vote banks. A big mistake on TDP's part last time was they waited until 6 months before election like typical politicians to do welfare schemes and with corruption it didn't reach people properly and quickly enough. So I am just trying to think HOW TDP can survive if they keep losing. Populism is here to stay when 80% people are in poverty and the rest just send one from family abroad to send money home. This whole idea of development is something already people are seeing in movies is showing as "exploitation". I feel CBN`s time is over, he is a dinosaur who is trying to hold on to old school politics that no longer works.
