I always criticize Rohit in tests for his irresponsible shots, and I do not see a place for him in test cricket when we find a regular opener who is talented like Gill
Having said that, why people have so many expectations on Rohit ? Coming as opener, in last three innings he scored 120 at an average of 40, he stayed for more than 20 overs in every innings, by that time the way he plays shots every ball, the shine on the ball would have gone
Still people scold him, just because he is more talented than Kohli, and nowhere near Kohli when it comes to commitment

Rohit and Kohli play similar brand of cricket. Aggressive. Major difference is the type of shots they play. Kohli plays low risk even tempo game in tests. Rohit plays aerial shots.
I hope Rohit continues to open in test cricket and establishes himself (if he stays fit). 26 overseas avg to his 77(?) Domestic average doesn't do justice.
