Asalu ee diabetes anthaa pedda scam la vundi .. every month 1500 RS tablets and 3 months ki oosari 1000 RS for tests .. still 120/180 since 2 years .. oka one month nunchi asalanni manesaa just normal ga eating and mrng evng walk still 120/180 no change .. inko 1 month ilane chesi tests ki veltha emavuddo chusta ..

watch ton of videos which ones are you comfortable... pick them that workout all your arms, legs.. etc. And you are comfortable doing them in your bedroom. GYm, trainer etc need lot of discipline to go daily... workouts you choose should be doable at any time in your bedroom.

And other thing.. when you want to start this transformation.. dont jump into it. Here is where i used Banting 2.0 method which helped me.

Transformation will be 4 phases:
1. Observation
2. Restoration
3. Transformation
4. Preservation.

So phase 1 lo Observation: dont do anything other than gathering information, looking at videos... mentally start making notes.. for example you are eating Bagels, make a note "hey i am eating bagels but i could have eaten pesarattu". "I am not even hungry why am i eating breakfast, i could have skipped and drank black coffee".

Make notes of ultra processed food.. how frequenty you are eating..

Then a week before you start, buy vegggies, nuts, avocados all supplies you need on your journey.

2) Restoration: slowly eliminate one bad stuff that you eat. Replace your afternoon snack with avocado or sprouts or nuts... replace bagels with whole grains, fermented stuff idly, pesarattu, dosa with pure butter etc etc..

3) transformation: Your body will start feeling the new change and you will know when to move to Intermittent fasting.. do it till you hit your weight goals.

4) Preservation: Preserve your body by not putting those ultra processes shti into your body again.

thats because 5 chapathis are made with 200gms wheat ..u will feel full even if u eat 100gms of millets because u are not used to.. the fiber content in whole wheat and millets for example foxtail millet are same..

Measure and eat is the mantra .. there is no magic grain..

It is a myth that America is healthier than India

Lifestyle diseases, mental health diseases, diseases due to harmones, GM etc are way higher in America

India is catching up with life style based diseases but still behind in percentage

Dairy,egg,soya,corn, chicken,beef etc- industrial farm food poisoning americans health

Look at menstrual age in America fell from 13 to 8.5 within 5-6 decades
Other dangerous changes like need for IVF, c section deliveries etc etc mean degradation of health

keto/vrk/lchf is a major lifestyle change... daniki manchi reason untey kani motivation undadu.. cuz doing Keto is socially daunting. Manam cheyochu kani.. intlo wife, parents, friends andaru . "enduku ra ee dikkumalina diet" adi idi ani savagodtharu...

when i was doing strict VRK, i was tired of attending parties.. cuz i had to give long speeches on why i am doing it.. and i had to hear speeches on how Rice adn Wheat are the most Healthy food people should consume in large quantities .

Okasari kids birthday party ki velthey akkada only pizzas, chips, fries, sweets, cake and soda undey. I took a glass of water.. host felt so bad that he couldnt serve food to me. Wife got angry that i offended the hosts.. i got angry that Host's feelings were more important to my wife than my health

Anyway.. i had fire under my ass with the T2D sugar tests i was doing... now all my social circle knows that i am Keto guy.. they plan for special meal when i am visiting their home..

I tell this to everyone who says they simply want to do Keto for better health. The switch to doing keto is deep in our arse. Unless we get kicked hard it wouldnt start.

BUt if you want to get rid of extra weight.. this is what i would recommend:

1. MUST: Get rid of ultra processed food. Ex. Bagels - one bagel is equal to 5 slices of bread. Chips etc.

2. Consider Intermittent fasting. So its basically skipping breakfast and eating regular food that you eat now.. but you eat only lunch and dinner.. rest of the time you dont snack , you dont chew anything.. just black cofee or tea.


3. Along with Intermittent Fasting, consider switching to Millets for extra punch.

4. Exercise with weights legs and arms.. it will make a ton of difference. start small and progress slowly.

Best entante Intermittent Fasting.
If we can do it for 18 hrs great,if not atleast 16hrs.
That is what our foorefathers did.
Had lunch at 10 AM and Dinner by 6 pm.
I dont recommend Keto for long run and Carbs are needed for body.
Anything whole grain is good since it has lot of micronutrients which we lack with Keto diet.

depends.. what you mean by keto - there are so many variations.

its not "unnatural". Lot of people eat meat daily thrice in USA along with bread.. but those guys have better health than india who are suffering with Diabetes everyday.

most followed Keto diets , LCHF or well-formed Keto : All do the same thing.. increase fat intake and reduce carb intake while maintaining Protein as per USFDA "plate".

There is another one.. its called P:E diet.. that mostly body builder kind of guys follow.. which talks about higher protein and less carb+fat.

i have tried keto and it is super hard because i can only eat panner/eggs veggies and it is hard just after a week. i like stir fried veggies with egg. not sure what else to eat without eating carbs as i know i need to stop eating bread/bagels etc.do you eat fruits?

i will give you my typical day.

7 am breakfast: 2 eggs - Omelette or boiled. 1 full avocado. 2-3 spoons of Pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds or 4-5 almonds. black coffee (sometimes with a spoon of butter if i am going to do physical work like shopping, camping etc.). 3 limes. - Daily no change.

12:00 pm Lunch: any veggetable curry... family of 3 or 4 ki vandinatha vandi.. motham thinta..
dondakaya, beerakaya, sorakaya, kakarkaya, bhindi, beans, paneer butter masala, any style any way.. just eat in good quantity.

If you miss rice, try to adapt to cauliflower rice.. after 1 week it will feel like rice. Food processor lo you can make enough cauliflower rice for a week.

Before corona times i used to eat lunch outside all week days:
1) chipotle bowl with out beans and rice, take Softritas as protein and everything else.
2) South Indian restaurants: Thali without rice and chapathi. I ask them to replace rice with additional curry.
3) north or mughalai Indian restaurants: Paneer, malai koftha, bagara bhaingan, cauliflower appetizers/ veg manchurian, bhindi masala.
4) Burger places: The Counter burger, i take the burger bowl bunless.
5) Blaze Pizza - Keto crust Pizza.
6) Panera Bread - Veggie soups with as less carbs as possible.
7) Any other restaurant with no options - Salads. They always have a salad.

5pm - if hungry i eat seeds or nuts. If extremely hungry eggs.

7 - 8 pm Dinner: Any veggie fry, paneer... glass of majjiga.

atleast 2-3 times a week exercise with weights. daily walking.. not doing in corona times.

if you dont have any ailments.. anni thinu. atleast 2-3 times a week.. take dumbells, put on ankle weights and exercise.

Just cardio is not good enough.. do some weights.. light weights are more than enough... diabetes, BP evi ne deggariki raavu..

yes. lowcarb variant of keto. max 1 or 2 chapathi in a week.

rest all veggies and eggs.

banting 2.0 ani vinna.. keto 2.0 nope.

for me restricting my blood sugar is important. daniki main ga intake of carbs ni avoid cheyyali.

Thiney veggies, eggs, salts, oils, butter as clean and closer to nature as possible.

5th class. Math gurthu techuko... Oka tank undi dantlo loki inflow water 2litres per minute vastondi... Outflow 0.5litres per minute velthondi....

What do you think you should do to stop the tank from overflow???

Lowcarb is about switching off the incoming sugars (a. K. A carbs in any form salty spicy etc)...

Taking medication, exercise is all about making the outflow bigger.
