Bushu:Did Microsoft HQ also do this? Or this only for UK employees?
It is global. This world appearance is a confusion: even as the blueness of the sky is an optical illusion. I think it is better not to let the mind dwell on it, but to ignore it. |

Maa vaallu pampinchina offiical email Members in or travelling to India in the coming days should continue to monitor developments following the inauguration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi, leader of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party, was sworn-in in the capital New Delhi on 30 May. No major protests have been reported since the release of official election results on 23 May. Although sporadic, low-level violence was reported in the lead up to the release of the election results, the risk of significant widespread unrest remains low following the inauguration. Any triggers for potential protests are expected to revert back to issue-based politics. Travel to India can continue following the announcement of the election results. However, ensure that you are fully briefed on the prevailing threats and mitigating measures prior to departure, especially for journeys to areas where the travel risks are rated as HIGH. Consult our Standing Travel Advice for further details. • Avoid all political gatherings and leave an area immediately if activists and/or the security forces begin to gather. Liaise with local contacts for information on gatherings. • Reconfirm the status of routes and allow additional time for travel if journeys near rallies are unavoidable. • Minimise time spent near potential rebel targets, including security force personnel, convoys and checkpoints to mitigate the risk of incidental exposure to any violence. • Monitor our alerts on India for related updates. Elsewhere, section 144 security orders, which prohibits the assembly of more than four people, is likely to remain in place until 18 July in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh state) and indefinitely in parts of West Bengal state, including Bhatpara. This follows election-related violence during which activists burned vehicles and detonated crude bombs. A heightened risk of rebel attacks will persist in the coming days. On 21 May, a National People's Party (NPP) assembly candidate, along with his son and nine others, were shot and killed in Tirap district (Arunachal Pradesh state). The insurgent National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) is suspected to being behind the attack. Extreme leftist Naxalite (Maoist) rebels may also target the security forces and election officials in their rural strongholds (see separate report).
This world appearance is a confusion: even as the blueness of the sky is an optical illusion. I think it is better not to let the mind dwell on it, but to ignore it. |
