Bjp will push Ycp to pressure on top tdp leaders and make them move to bjp Bjp will give SCS and complete polavaramu increasing their graph. 2024 ki bjp won’t be winning position but will dent tdp so much jagan comes back again. I argued in 2016/2017 that SS is not applicable for AP. DB lo andaru bhootulu tittaru. Mana budget 1.4 lakh crores same as our Neighbour states. GSDP lo 8th place. Ee vidhamga qualify kaamu except for sentiment. Bjp initially thought that they can evade this in honest way but things turned sour when started playing dual politics. Even now bjp might not do it for administrative reasons only to damage tdp and cause vaccum to grow. Polavaramu will complete in next 2 years and both jagan and modi will get credit. There is much more understanding between ycp and bjp behinds the scenes than we think | ||

Through midway of last term, BJp wantes to expand in south. They were not sure they will get full majority. They needed an ally in 2019 who they can trust. In their eyes, Jagan was more dependable and manageable and Babu was unreliable - in their opinion. Also, the bonding with BJP for TDP is through Venkaiah and other older senior BJP leaders. Not Modi’s. | ||

Assuming COngress will revive better than today, PK will still be there, it will be much difficult for BJP to strengthen in AP. (TDP, Congress, PK). | ||

BJP denied Special Status with Babu as CM because it played the game to weakened Babu. It caused Babu to leave BJP and eventually lose power. Mission accomplished for BJP. This term, BJP will want to expand its role in AP, strengthen YCP for reelection and shut TDP out. If Jagan gets Special Status, he will become a hero and win become CM again and in 2024 BJP will have a sependable ally. So very very likely BJP will give SCS probably after anfew years into the current term. |
