its not just the fault of such leaders - its always the listener that drives a conversation for a person who is intended to impress. its the people, who are not getting enough education - or rather prefer the leaders to drive such agenda. Why are people voting to such leaders? Most voting people dont understand that the things they are getting from governments are coming from their hard-earned money - and the center structure also has a lot to do with it. Center's income is very less compared what individual states contribute to the economy, but the way Center behaves and projects , is similar to how state leaders behave when it comes to show how they are "providing funds" to states. | ||

it sounds scary... but that is what democracy is. people should concentrate on their local leaders, to get the most for their local constituencies. In India center has almost unmitigated power. I understand that there are some states that are lagging than others. I always say.. at state level there should be strong regional parties, but when it comes to Center, parties should form coalitions. I always supported BJP, and I want BJP to be the leading party, but State parties should have more say. When a central high command, can dictate who can be the state CM(which was a common occurrence with congress CMs), states lose their word. | ||
