From what I understand, Reason for not having exception for rape and incest? Roe v Wade. You have a right to privacy and don't have to justify with any reason. So, a ban without exception may pass in the courts. Republicans played this well. This is partially in response to RHA (Reproductive Health Act). This act removes the need for a doctor to perform some abortions and takes abortion out of the criminal code, making it a public health issue. controversial aspect of the RHA is the provision allowing abortions after 24 weeks in cases (Conditions apply). Unfortunately, in stead of leaving this to people, by making laws, both sides are increasing the line of division. Terrible. | ||
