We did this NY and DC trip last year June.. unless you are planning to visit cousin's places, DC lite teesukovachu.. or at most half a day at Lincoln Memorial/Capitol building. NY trip lo we rented AirBnB near Union City.. I previously stayed at AirBnB in Jersey City as well.. I thought Jersey City houses were way older/less clean than Union City ones.. may be it was just limited to the ones we rented. But advantage with Jersey City is the proximity to Indian restaurants. | ||

we have 2 parents of my friend in the group There will be some walking , so please be selective and smart while selecting places Plan perfectly like leaders visit, rather than random Parents should not feel strain and crunched for time | ||

I tell my exp last year - Down loaded offline google maps of the areas i was visiting - flied to NY - took car rental from hrtz in the Airport - booked an AIRBNB property few miles away from lincoln tunnel that leads to manhattan - driven NJ for places like temples and Edison street and Liberty Park - while going to Manhattan , parked the car in Park and Ride - used NJ transit Bus, that takes us to Manhattan terminal - below Terminal we have Subway, which can be used - or come out take a taxi to specific paces mostly 10-20 bucks with in Manhattan - After 4 days, Driven to Baltimore (Air BNB property) , via Phili. - stayed for 3 days, driven to Washing ton, used to park car in parking lot - used Taxis to roam around , come back pick up Car reach home - heard we can use subway too From there we drove to Buffalo Nayagara Spent 1.5 days Dropped the car in Buffalo Took flight back 2 families - 10 members 2 cars 1 mid side , 1 van Hope this helps | ||

DC varaku, I can manage as I have couple of cousins here. NY aa traffic and janalu, I can't amma...
