I believe both are pitching in for PM position in 2019.

CBN ego got hurt and he thinks Modi is junior to him and became PM. why can't he. that's reason why he parted with BJP and joined hands with Congress. Its easy to make congress Bakara at the end of the election results and cleverly position himself as conses candidate for PM and make Lokesh as CM here.

CBN believes if KCR with just 2 MPs can manage congress high command and get Telangana state why can't he try for PM with help from congress.

AP special status and others are all minior issues just to showcase for public.

KCR on other hand trying to woo around around 50-60 MPs and bargain for PM or Dy PM role. same plan of making KTR as TG CM.
