uch an advisory has not been given about entire India earlier ( atleast in the last few years after the Mumbai attack)and now India has joined the elite list of nations like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Middle East, Africa, Nicaragua etc where these travel advisories are very common.




Just go here https://web.archive.org/web/20161220211434/https://travel.gc .ca/destinations/india

and move the date (horizontal bar on top) ..you can find travel advisories issued from time to time..some areas are constant ..other areas are added/removed based on situation

Now they have added the border areas/states

Updated on thier official travel advisory site.

Specific updates about certain parts like border states etc.




may be this is new to you..it's just routine and nothing special or exclusive..
They update frequently,just as a guidance to travelers
