There are 29 constituencies reserved for SCs in Andhra Pradesh and according to a survey done by a professional agency, these constituencies are going to be crucial in deciding the fate of the political parties seeking to come to power in the state. The survey has revealed that as of now, the YSR Congress party can easily win 12 of these 29 reserved seats, while the TDP can win nine. There will be a tough contest in the remaining eight seats. The Congress is going to decide the outcome in two seats and Jana Sena in another six seats, though neither of these two can win these seats. And whoever gets a majority of these seats would be able to breast the tape in the race for power. If the YSRC puts in a little more effort and fields suitable candidates, it can win all these eight seats, the survey said. âThe final result will depend on formation of alliances, the finalisation of candidates, the dispensation of the dominant communities in the respective constituencies and the issues of the day. In the eight constituencies how much of a spoiler role the Jana Sena and the Congress would play would determine the winner,â the survey said. No Signature |
