Indian Mythology is like MCU. New York City is real. New York City under attacks, and significant threats is also real. But Infinity Stones are fictional. Space Portals, Thanos, Gauntlet, snap etc etc... raaskuntaa povachhu oka Spiderman, oka Iron Man, oka Thor ni pettukuni... Historically there is no proof that Budhha and Ashoka knew about Krishna, Rama, Hanuman, Ravan, Shiva and Vishnu. Probably Indra yes, vedic Gods like Sun, Wind, Water etc, but definitely not a whole lot bunch. There is every reason to believe much more powerful Gods than the Five Elements were invented to save Hinduism from Islamic Invasions, because it is unsure if Islam first arrived in India within 20 years of it's Founding. Religions born in India have always been Peace loving. Hinduism did face threat by the birth and spread of Budhhism, but it was Hindu Kings that solved the confusion by suggesting that it's all the same teachings, philosophy, one-way-or-the-other. if any one interested in krishna/maha bharatha/dwapara yugam there is very interesting finds, drowned dwaraka city with preserved structures and corbon dated to 36000 years. people who thinks ramayana and mahabharatha is a fiction it is good proof for them.. they can excavate the whole area but it is the border of pakis with lot land mines ..
