vongobetti ku..... anthaa... den.... Scene - 1: Happened this afternoon some time ago. I was walking into Indian Store for weekend grocery shopping after parking my car. Parking lot lo jarigina scene. One guy, let's call him Mr A for Aravam, was calling out for some random indian kid... eyyy... come here, take this cart and put it there in that corner... Kid's dad was right there... andukunnaadu... Kid's dad : "Who the F are you... What's wrong with you? Why are you calling out to my kid and giving him your cart to put it back in the cart-return spot.... you go do it yourself...blah... blah..blah.." Mr A : "I know the kid, he plays with my kids, he's been to my home as well couple of times. I am sorry, I did not recollect your son's name. We haven't met...." Kid's dad : "Doesn't matter. You are not supposed to behave like his." Called out for the kid in telugu, taught the kid not to accept work like this from elders unless that is mommy or daddy, in telugu, and walked away into the Indian Grocery Store. Scene - 2: Happened just a short while ago. I went to my apartment common laundry. Put my clothes for washing. Mr A walks in into the laundry room with three huge baskets, he has seen which washer I put my clothes in. Mr A to me : "Hey man, how are you doing?" Me : "I am sorry, do I know you?" Mr A : "You already forgot? We met on Dec 31 night party, so-and-so neighbor's place. We had drinks, kids played... blah.. blah...blah...." Ok, kusala prasnalu palakarimpulu ayyaka, I said good-bye, I have work at home. DBed for some time, and went back to move clothes to dryer. Half-hour wash-spin, oka one or two minutes some times early or late, it's typically OK. I go to laundry room to move my clothes from washer to dryer and see all my clothes on the EFFing dirty wooden bench. Maa laundry room lo oka dirty wooden bench koodaa vundi le. Mr A has already emptied the washer and started putting his clothes. Naaku kaalindi... maamoolugaa kaalaledu... Arei, 2 mins ye late raa... antha koodaa patience ledu raa.. . washer ye avasaram ayithey bench meeda pette badulu empty dryer ye vundi, daani loney pettochhu gaa.. nenu vachhaka naa laundry card ye vaadathaagaa.. yevado kid ki cart ichhi cart-return place ki pampudaam ani try chesaav choodu... appude poorthigaa ardham ayyindi... naalugu peekinaa budhhi raadu ani... just parichayam vunte elaa ayinaa vaadeskovachhu anukune nee yedava mentality.... meerandaru inthenaa bhey... anukuni...., tamaayinchukuni... common laundry annaka ilaantivi tappavu ani telisi godava anosaram.. yem maattaadakundaa, put my clothes in dryer, see you, good night... maa apartments lo ee aravam saaley gaallu yekkuva ayipoyaaru.. telugollu anthaa Dallas ki move ayyaaru, or homes konesaaru....
