GOI is providing 15% investment allowance under backward region package. This is 15% of plant costs (not land, infra, utilities, just equipment) to be tax deductible.. i.e at 30% income tax, deductible of 15% translates to 4.5% tax advantage on the plant costs.. | ||

If KIA is investing 10000cr in fixed capital assets, then they are eligible to get incentives worth 10000cr. In addition to this, AP is also investing 615cr for levelling land, canals for water, power substations, drains, etc.. | ||
