any scientific research links documents papers to support your bizarre claims ? my take on this issue... it's a false comparison, neighbouring paddy fields very much likely to differ in many aspects... paddy lodging depends on the type of seed you're using... it also depends on the terrain, soil, and mainly weather... in my farm, one portion of paddy lodges every year... it is something to do with the wind direction, age and height of the paddy... some rice varieties are prone to lodging but they give high yields, need less water and less farm maintenance... every variety of rice comes with certain pros and cons... farmers usually take a calculated risk here... | ||

In natural farming, roots should go deeper, to get the nutrients from the soil. using fertilizers removes that need of the roots to go deeper. Hence, natural farming may survive moderate devastation of wind + rain | ||
