1. 2 TMC water @90 days = 180 TMC 2 TMC water @120 days = 240 TMC 2 TMC water @180 days = 320 TMC with capacity to increase it to 3 TMC per day by adding one more additional pump 2. With additional super thermal power station going critical in 2 yrs (Yadadri, Bhadradri and additional capacity in Ramagundam), telangana will have surplus power (own) in 2 years maximum. So any electricity needs of the state can be addressed from within state 3. As discussed number of times, maintenance of power plants and running the lift irrigation projects is expensive but the cost of not doing it in terms of human life is more. Telangana sasyasyamalam avvalante, raitulu migita vallu bratakalante we need water. Once the water reaches the interiors of Telangana due to lifts and linking of the cheruvulu you will see a green revolution here. It will be like it was 30-40 yrs ago when we had good decent cultivation only now it will be better. The economy of the rural telangana will be able to sustain itself. This is the optimistic outlook of the state. In the efforts put forward by the govt so far the people of Telangana see this will be fruitful and will yield the desired results.
