In Modi's case, there is something bigger than difference of opinion - he is destroying the system. These Officials are there to advice and act as "checks and balances" so that the politician does not go overboard - and capture the systems...That was how democracy survived successfully in India. Now with Modi - he is capturing all these institutions - and making them useless...all power is getting concentrated in one man...and that is completely against the constitution of India! | ||

you are confusing. IAS office is an earned position but CS is an appointed position. Sure CS should advice the CM. But if there is difference of opinion, CS will go not CM. same here. | ||

Every Appointment is done by a group of people.... For e.g. CBI Dirctor is appointed by SC Chief Justice, PM and LOP. Recently the LOP and SC CJ were not consulted at all. PM took a unilateral decision. | ||

This was again because of his stupid fingering....Now OPEC & Russia have separately taken decisions to cut production from Jan 2019. But too much damage was done and we can hope Brent crude inches up slowly in the next 6 months to alteast 70-75. Otherwise it will not be profitable for the oil companies. Currently too much post production inventory is lying idle especially in Alberta. Meanwhile bhakths - completely living a different world, started circulating articles that the fall in Brent crude was because of Modi Saar! | ||
