I am not a legal expert but I know many friends who has started companies in USA and they are not US Citizens (They have Indian passport). However all of them are residents of USA either on H1 or Greencard. | ||

I am planning return to India for good by end of this year. I have few questions about my type of employment and tax filing. These are my questions – I am US citizens with OCI and moving back to India in Jan 2018. After moving to India will be working remotely from India for my current US client as a contractor. What is the best option to bill client by considering taxes both in US and India? 1. 1099 (Client prefers corp to corp) 2. S Corp in US and take salary in US 3. S Corp in US and Start Pvt Limited in India. India company bills US S corp and US S corp bills client. Salaries taken in India from Pvt Ltd company 4. Start Pvt Limited in India and bill to client directly I would like to know best option to own business as US citizen but residing in India. The source of income is from US client I appreciate the help. | ||

Are you an OCI.. do you have PAN number... Do you have NRE account or FCNR account... You can not invest in chit fund/real estate/media etc.. go through this... Start up needs approval from concerned agencies like RBI or SEBI There are ceilings for investment Agriculture/plantation lo not eligible I think | ||
