because you have to buy oil only in $s. IN layman terms... You need to send INR out of country in higher numbers to purchase $s. But when the crude oil is down.. you dont need to take out forex reserves.. increasing value of ruppee in exchanges.. but thats one factor. there are million factors that effect the rupee... What is the direct relation between Crude oil and INR ? Unless if the reduction in import bill/fuel substantially improves the economy But I don't think it is immediate ..may take a qtr or more..may be USD/INR rate will come down to low 70's | ||

1)after 2004, India removed anti-dumping tax which led to free fall of Rupee due to unlimited import of capital goods especially from china Unless it is corrected, rupee is not going to recover 2) Withdrawal of dollars Trump started withdrawing dollars which leads to appreciation of dollar against other currencies So this is another factor which works against Rupee | ||

I am expecting rupee appreciation in next 2-3 weeks .... By 10-20 percent..... What do you think?? Capacity vundi, laziness, and uninspired life is a waste of time. YOLO kada.... But experiences is how you bring meaning to life. Worthiness should be earned with adequate efforts. |
