"I knew him when he was Delhi police commissioner. I have seen him working in CBI on Aircel-Maxis and other cases. It hurts our campaign against corruption, I hope Supreme Court will do him justice," said Swamy. Verma was sent on a compulsory leave by the Centre in October, following his differences with CBI's Special Director Rakesh Asthana and an internal rift in the premier investigating agency over corruption allegations. |
