this seems to be a good place to research https://www.testingmom.com/tests/california-gate-gifted-educ ation/ one week might be too short , imo if kid is natural, he/she will get through try checking out test questions online so that at least they know what kind of Qs will be asked in VA, they use CoGat, NNAT scores as one of the criteria...we purchased/researched sample tests in advance and had my son work on them for a few weekends...30 mins or so he got into the program | ||

I'm not sure if there is any material, my daughter qualified GATE when she was in 4th grade in Bay Area. But as far as I remember there was no special material she prepared. | ||

my daughter got qualified for Duke TIP, she is also in 4th grade they have prep material .those who are serious about their watches display them prominently, those who are more concerned with style and branding present you with aircraft carriers and hide their watches. | ||

Any one has their kids take GATE test? If so, what are the resources that one should practice before taking the test? my kid is fourth, and the new school district we moved to recently has this program and they are going to administer it next week. Looking for some prep material. Thanks! |
