Need expert opinion https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/12/this-tax-move-trump-used-cou ld-get-wealthy-investors-in-hot-water-with-the-irs.html Hypothetical numbers: Income 450k Tax normal deduction : 24K AGI : 425K TAX : 100K With a donation of 35K towards land preservation, we can deduct atleast 200K, making total deductions 200k + 24k..net income ~225k which drastically brings ur tax. adding this 35k donation and new tax around 40k, 100k -(40k+35k) = 25k savings. trump thata also used it, completely legal. anyone tried or have idea on it?
