PVN oka High Command.. mallee aayana cheppindhi state units lo senior leaders follow avvatam....After he lost in May 1996 and BJP initially came into power, PVN was in a guesthouse in Tirumala - waiting for his arrest. Then he toppled Vajpayee Govt. in 13 days & made DeveGowda as PM...and slowly faded into oblivion. The fact is NTR approached Congress in Sep 1995...PVN came with a scheme to remove CBN.....and this was not even implemented...because there were no takers for this and no wanted to mess around in that situation. | ||

With the support of the NTR TDP MLAs who were initially around 40+. And they hoped to split the CBN group - especially the Kapu MLAs. PVN wanted to do it.... Local leaders like rosiah and PJR said NO....The Main candidate around whom they planned this - dissappeared! So within a few days this failed and NTR became even more depressed. | ||

Infact Chiranjeevi went abroad to escape from this "proposal" and PVN's aides got in touch with a close child hood friend of Chiru - a famous doctor in Narsapur - He also could not get in touch with Chiru. Eventually Chiru came back after a few days - when this proposal was buried. | ||

Yes...this was correct. NTR got in touch with PVN (who was the PM then). PVN came up with a plan to split the TDP - TDP headed by NTR's MLAs will support the Cong CM ( PVN suggested Chiranjeevi as CM). At that time, Chiranjeevi was a soft Congress supporter. But, Chiranjeevi rejected this immediately without a second thought + AP Congress leaders (Rosiah etc) also did not want to interfere in the happenings within TDP The period from 1995 was like an all out attack on Chiranjeevi by TDP + thier supporters in the Film Industry, even though Chiru did not even consider this proposal. | ||
