Because the final negotiated contract is for offsets of industrial defence goods, not an agreement to co-produce planes, which is HAL’s only competence (sic). The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) reportedly gets Rs 9,000 crore worth of offset work from Dassault, while Reliance is simply the biggest, not only, beneficiary of the remaining Rs 21,000 crore. This is apt as Reliance ADAG (Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group) along with L&T, Kalyani,Tata and Bharat Forge are the only ones actually producing defence equipment currently, and it was Dassault’s prerogative to pick its industrial partner. But this still doesn’t answer the question of alleged cronyism. Would Dassault tying up with Reliance (Mukesh Ambani) in 2012 and then winning the contract be UPA cronyism? CAG can draw funds from consolidated funds of INDIA and CBI cannot... CBI has depend upon home ministry for personnel deployment.... CBI works under personal ministry which is now held by PM Modi.... I signed all the petitions asking for his downfall after that incident. for 7 years. and then reality dawned. it was an administrative failure, fully agreed. by a CM who had barely any admin experience, was 3 months into that position, someone who took a taxi from the airport to the CM office when he first landed. and someone who asked neighboring states and center for support as riots spawned. and no one responded. and still managed to bring things under control in less than a week. who was haunted for 10 years with fake cases. only CM to undergo nonstop scrutiny for 10 years and an SIT interrogation for two days and still came out clean. someone who had the balls to go to elections right away to prove his innocence. someone who eradicated the epidemic of religious riots in a state that had on average one religious riot every 18 months after independence irrespective of cong or bjp in power. yes, questioned and found answers. closed minds can never do that. that's ok. | ||
