This is a very easy idea..i mean it is not hard to replicate for a FMCG veteran...so basically your frnd is doing middleman business and with no value addition to the product.. These are zero-value add or middleman businesses , so why no one else have entered into it ? why retailers cannot directly go with manufacturers? In this age of India-euro expo, it looks unbelievable to me that retailers tsick with only one supplier... Finally this is easy to replicate model..how can this ustain in long run ? moreover i think big chains are also entering this middleman business.... Yes, I know a lot but can’t give due to confidentiality..... See total employees is 6 permanent means having unlimited contact and 4 temporary work force....totaling 10..... It does business by distributing fmcg goods.....the main corporates sell to this agency and this agency sells to retailers..... But in Europe dominated by large supermarket chains this targets only immigrant population and its goods....so, the target population is 15% which don’t completely rely on that chains.... True, see most of the students think getting a rank and landing ina nice institution reserve a nice job to them.... Then they do a white collar job there and serves rest of their lives there..... The above is true in 95% cases .....remaining 5% cream of crop evolve to next level.... Then, there are others who continuously evolve by struggling in their lives.....they reach a pinnacle.... Around me I see a lot of them .....a Guntur guy who barely passed engineering came here and failed eamcet too.....but now he is a multi billionaire......maintaining low profile..... Similarly a millionaire Krishna district guy his company turnover is around 1 billion a year with 6 employees.....he too has similar story as above....he even failed engineering, came abroad with a fake certificate then failed MS too, but he is a billionaire now.....
