Every one has their own style and own set of ideas, patterns and strengths. We can not compare and discuss who is the best. Rajamouli - I think he read Ramayanam many many times and his thought process always goes in the lines of Ramayana. If you look at his movie themes basically contains Kaamam ( SEX). I am not taking the following movies into consideration EEga, maryadaramanna, vikramarkudu, Sye, because they are complete copy of other movies. so lets take his biggest hits Magadheera, Bahubali 1 & 2.. all based on Kaamam. That means the villan wants the girl and the hero at the end kills villan type of subjects. But he knows the pusle of Mass audience. He shows that very clearly in the story telling and shot making. He wont attempt to make a movie like Arya not because he can not. Its just not his cup of tea and not his style. so its not fair to compare Rajamouli and Sukumar and start a discussion who is best. Guruji - I wont consider A aa, Athadu, theenmar, agnyathavaasi because they are inspired by other movies or copies of other movies. Lets take his best movies nuvve nuvve, Arvinda Sametha, Attarintiki daaredi. Basically he believes in woman empowerment and his story telling is in the prospective of a woman. His style is to make meaningful scenes and write meaningful dialogues. He wont attempt a movie like Arya or Bahubali not because he can not make a similar film, but its not his cup of tea or style. Sukumar - His style to surprise audience. His style to make something which can not be easily predictable. He always wants to blow away the audience with surprise elements. Some may click, some may not but that is his basic style. He wont make attarintiki daaredi or Bahubali, again not because he can not make but its not his cup of team and style. Koratala Siva - He basically study's the current system and current problems and make scripts just based on the system. He takes cinematic liberties and nits a perfect script that talks about a problem. again he doesn't want to attempt an Arya, or nuvve nuvve or bahubali kind of movies because his style is different. Alfred Hitchcock makes suspense/thriller movies and Christopher Nolan makes since/Fiction movies. Its really unfair to discuss who is the best director among both. Their style is completely different and approach is completely different. Evadiki vaade topu in his own style of film making. The best thing about them is, they stick to their strengths and what they are good at. |
