Modi, Manmohan ,Mamta etc ... they may be personally honest but how about the parties they are in? Do they talk about corruption in their own party and try to address it? they cannot be called honest at all cause they attained their position with corrupt means. Same with NTR...even Kerjriwal has corrupt people. Did Kajriwal manage to bring any fundamental change!!? Once the own party corrupt leaders, party promoters(corporate,who donate huge party funds),corrupt officials, the CM/PM start losing support from the own party.. | ||

Honesty is relative ...Oka street side vegetables seller tana life kosam constable ki oka 50rs lancham iste adi avineethi aipothunda? any way, in an era where success is measured by wealth u can't expect people to be honest and there is nothing wrong in it...what one should try to do is , at least try to restrict the number of corrupted leaders in their party. Can a really honest person run a political party honestly and win election? If at all wins election can he run the government honestly? If he runs the honest government would his MLAs support him or would he win next election? honesty may mean: no trading of votes no seats to corrupt people and criminals no unwarranted populist schemes and keep to the absolute needy. long term vision for the greater good than the short term vote bank politics and schemes. etc. etc. can any sublimely honest and integral person ever win with these principles in India? if not what is the alternative way for betterment? |
