Kaiser, We wanted to start a company in India, we were told to have atleast 2 directors (Indian citizens not NRIs). We said fine and requested my friends to be the directors of the company. Then right before the registration process the auditor asked us the amount we are planning to invest in India for these Hospitality project (we are planning to start some Hotel in karnataka). We said 1 crore initially. The auditor said we need to pay close to 5 lakhs to government. we did not start the company, we did not build the hotel, did not start the business, we did not make one single rupee profit. First thing we need to do is pay govt some registration fee that too in lakhs. I am paying every year IT in india, mana system antha oneway brother. Tax kattevaadiki in return emee cheyadhu govt.
