Manmohan Singh never visited Pakistan as a PM. The Indian PMs who visited Pakistan are Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi, Vajpayee and Modi. Coming to the statement on Balochistan - it may have been a mistake. But there was clear proof that India was involved in fomenting trouble. This proof was handed over to the International agencies and MMS. Despite this in July 2009, when MMS and the Pk PM met, in Egypt, a dosier on Balochistan was not handed ver to India. He flaty denied the involvement of the Indian embassy in Afghanistan in the activities in Balochistan. The official statement was "If you have any evidence, we are willing to look at it because we are an open book" | ||

There were no negotiations with Pakistan after 2008. After Modi became the PM, India resumed the dialog and even went to Pakistan to attend the Pak PM's mother's birthday. Infact for the first time ISI was invited to India to study the Pathonkot attack and in August 2018, India and Pakistan conducted joint Military exercises as part of a larger group in Russia. Even today, the Congress party's official stand is "Whom do we talk to in Pakistan?Let them get their house in order first." When you do something - own the success or failure..... If it fails, do not push the blame on someone else. | ||
