----------- Trump is TOTALLY WRONG in this aspect. ------------ Not ONLY this. He is MOSTLY wrong with the his OWN FACTS/thoughts that he tweets continuously. No one can support his tweets, but his policies (apart this, and separating families at the border and few others) are in the Interest of US. We really don't know the long term impacts of his policies and to be frank NO ONE knows long term impact of anything. We have to take BEST GUESS, that is where DEMOCRATS they fail and cause enormous harm in the long term and his supporters say opposite. | ||

agree. trump just tweeted like any party base. in a tight mid terms, loosing 2 seats incumbents is a big loss. if it is on opposite side, dems will feel the same. only thing is trump tweets such stuff  | ||

As I always tell, criticize anyone based on a PARTICULAR ACTION, NOT the entire person, entire presidency or entire party. There are MANY THINGS WRONG that trump did, but NONE OF THOSE turned into policy changes or new laws. Who cares if he doesn't like DoJ bringing indictments. It is his opinion, but Sessions is RIGHT to prosecute people (irrespective of their position) and apply law EQUALLY. | ||

whats is the point you are making. trump will use your words if you praise him. they mean nothing. you know that. assume that Mattis or kelly did speaks badly, so what? Didnt you badmouth your boss behind? trump style of working is different. many people are not used to it. so it creates conflict and tension. rotine part. i am not sure what you are expecting that the book will reveal. Also as a second topic, I am calling out hypocrisy of the SCJ hearings.. I am saying there is no point.. give him the nomination!! The topic i was trying to point out is count of votes .. I did not start a thread on Omarosa book or Wolfe book. One more thing, I rarely start any thread and when I do, t generally will be to bring forth a topic for discussion more than a conclusion . The intent is not to pluck anything from anybody!! So your basic premise on my topic was incorrect. You did not find any major faults. That is your prerogative. Two different topics but did not want to open two different threads Supreme Court Justice has votes. All the grandstanding by Democrats is just that.. however there is an interesting subplot. If Lisa M and Susan collins, votes against the nomination, democratic senators in red states will be put on spot.. right now they must be praying lisa and Susan will not crack. That way they can go ahead and vote for without any repercussions.. imagine being the first democrat to put Bret cavannagh thru.. I feel there will be expected climax here. I don't even see the point of these hearings. They are going to say the right things anyway. Bob Woodward book is going to be something .. for those not familiar with bob, he Carries 40 years of credibility . He wrote books on presidents from both sides . Everyone went against him but he prevailed in the end. I am sure he will have enough back up to say what he says.. and the excerpts that were release so far paints the picture of trump we have been imagining all along.. I am sure his fans won't bat an eye lid but I am hoping Bob's name recognition will make them pause for some time and think |
