yes its a book about how algorithms are affecting the world...

but

in the wake of AI, it may become redundant.

here is the concern of that book.....till 2013/14 on whose data the book is based on....the algorithms don't take into account socio-economic parameters...

for example during subprime...teachers laid off based on an algorithm ...but the teachers who are strict in correcting paper are ones that effected...

those teachers who deliberately inflated marks got high scores...

so what are the ethics here??

when complained about the result to senators they shrugged their shoulders...conveying their inability to do anything...

likewise soo many examples given.
Capacity vundi, laziness, and uninspired life is a waste of time.

But experiences is how you bring meaning to life. Worthiness should be earned with adequate efforts.

i dont like novels or fiction...

these are the books I remember momentarily...

1)energy and civilization
2)dangerous yeas(cimate change)
story telling with data (50% are diagrams)
4)the power of gold
5)weapons of math destruction
6)dead sea scrolls
7)economic performance of renewables
8)foundations of the earth(global ecologcal change)
9)the shock of the Anthropocene.
10)world drug report 3,4 volumes
11)INDC report on energy (its 1500 pages)
