round trip enni days..meaning..from the day you arrive in Mexico to the time you get your passport back in your hands.. 2 days ( if it is Mexico city, it takes lil longer i believe) also do you have to schedule Finger Printing and Visa appointment like in vindia ? yes For my friend process was very smooth and easy. | ||

Recently one of my friends went to Tijuana for stamping, he flew to san diego rented the car and returned it near to the border then crossed the border by walk. He booked a hotel near to the consulate, it is a walkable distance from the hotel. From boarder he booked uber and went to the hotel. It's a small place. Monday he had fingerprints, next day attended for stamping. The only thing you should consider is, the application ( i believe DS-156 ) fee should be paid in pesos ( currency) i guess, he found some guy from his office and took that guys help to pay for it. Note: Many people won't understand English there. | ||
