I spent couple of weeks in Shanghai during expo 2010. The constructions were at a full pace. They were even joking that their national bird is 'crane'. Valla model ye weird. They took all the people and moved them to outskirts to build theses cities. ( I think ) They provide free transport for the people to come into city and work. I think these cities are by plan . China was expecting a economic upturn that will fill up the cities. As the income of the people grows they will start moving into the city . The affordability determined the move I guess. It's unbelievable how they can do that with country of that size and population | ||
