BG made a self-goal and he is responsible for his current state. By participating in every discussion he made a fool out of himself. First of all, he is not a scientist nor has a decent amount of knowledge on the subject he argues. For TV channels and people, he is just adding entertainment. What's wrong in following a faith? Everyone in the world follows and there might be blind belief but that's not unconstitutional. As long as the government allows they can follow it or promote it etc. However, who are you to provoke them? The US government gives tax incentives for taxpayers for donations and so does India hence people contribute to those institutions and it's their right. The real problems you should fight is against illiteracy, drugs, prostitution, alcohol, violence, and corruption. And I don't see him on any of these discussions. why hating him...?? end of the day what I see is 1000s of people coming out of superstitious beliefs and blind worship and going through a path of knowledge.... whatever his affiliations are atleast he did some part in telugu society which is immersed fully in the darkness of spirituality...if you had observed the 2006-16 period there is a rise in devotion which in turn lead to subordination for a group of people called saints, astrologers blah blah bullsxit.... in that period wherever you go like Shirdi, Sabarimala, Kasi, madhurai etc etc what not ..filled by Telugu devotees....its the outflow of money from Telugu states to other states in name of devotion and drained our economy...crppling domestic consumption.....leading to less GSDP.... just calculate the monthly income spent on this religious beliefs...you will observe less privileged spending more on religion than higher income groups...as a percentage of income.... I calculated it ....those with less than 10k/month spend 5-10% of their income on religious stuff...while the income level touches or passes 100k/month it would reduce to 3-5%... now this madness is reduced ...which is a big thing and must be commended. man in love. |
