Murrano ad burrano....

Did not have time to visit other islands - but loved walking the streets of Venice and the general relaxed feel of the town :-) Florence was very busy compared to Venice - and they had the huge fashion festival happening when we went so that may have added to the crowds.,

Ok, these are the places I had in mind while travelling to Italy. Thanks for affirmation :-)
Will have to cover them somehow in next trip.

Amalfi is fabulous - you can easily spend a week there - we had 4 days and it was rushed :-)

Venice is beautiful - people say it’s overrated - we loved it ..so it depends in what you expect

Yeah beautiful place - we kind of did it injustice as we came there from Amalfi and Capri - so it did not have as much wow factor :-)

So you chose trains ? or u drove as well?

We did trains .. and stayed in town centers- we did not want to drive..

Venice to Florence is 2 hours by train, Florence to Rome 1.5 hours, Rome to Naples 1 hour - very fast and convenient!

Awesome. I have to do this 2-3 years later when my kids can handle the walking. We were in US for 3 weeks recently on holiday, and as my kids handled the heat, humidity, crowds and walking in Orlando with ease, am sure they can handle Italy :-)

Food in Italy is to die for. Been there on work a few times, i have fond remembrances of all the glorious food and wine.
