EURAIL Global pass: Day-0 Reach Frankfurt. From Frankfurt, you can go to Zurich. Stay overnight. Day-1 If you have time and not tired, then go around the city tour. Just walk around the centre. Day-2 Go to Engelberg to cover mount Titlis trip. This should take entire-day. You reach Engelberg, and then cable car to Mount Titlis. Return to Zurich on the evening. Day-3 Go to Interlaken. If time permits, you can go to Junfrauch. This is one-complete day trip. In the mid-way to Junfrauch, you can get down in Grinderwald and take a tour around. Return to Zurich late in the evening. Day-4 Cover city tours of - Luzern and Bern. Return to Zurich late in the night. Day-5 Take a train to Milan. And proceed to Venice. It is a nice scenic trip for entire day. When you reach Padova, stay overnight and then plan for next day complete trip in Venice. You can buy a day card and go around the boat trips to different places within the main island of Venice and then also to some remote islands like Burano, etc (Glass casting factories are worth watching). Return to Padova at the end of the day. Stay overnight again. Day-6 Take a train to Rome. 3 to 4 hours by AGV high speed train. You can check into the hotel. Then go around the city tour. Later in the evening you return to hotel. Rome is 24 hours city and worth walking around Day-7 A day trip to Vatican. This is one day trip. Go inside Vatican and also try to go on top of Vatican to get a nice view of Rome. Return to Rome late night. Stay over. I don’t recommend Pisa unless you want to see it as one of the 7-wonders of the world. Waste of time and money Fly to Vienna from Rome. This saves sometime of yours Day-8 Check into Vienna hotel. Take a city tour around. I haven’t been to Vienna, but what I heard from people is that it is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Stay overnight to leave for Prague next day. Day-9 Take a train to Prague early hours. Check into Prague hotel. And take a tour around the rest of the day. Stay overnight and leave early for Munich next day. Day-10 Take a train to Cologne early hours. And take a tour around the rest of the day. Stay overnight and leave early for Amsterdam next day. Reserve the entire day to take walking tour around the city. You can stay overnight in Amsterdam. Leave for Brussels on early next day Day-11 When you check into Brussels, you will have entire day, you can go around City tour in Brussels. When you are done, return to hotel and stay overnight. Day-12 You can go to Luxemburg on the next day. City tour is recommended for the entire day. When you are done, return to Cologne directly. Day-13 You can go to Paris on the next day. Eifell tower ride and return by the end of the day. Day-14 You can go to Berlin on the next day. You can have a day card and city tour on the bus. End of the day, you can return to Cologne. I remember reading few itineraries for family trip to Europe but i can't seem to find them now Any recommended airlines? June / July is ok to visit? Planning to cover London and Paris in 1 week. My younger one (6) may not appreciate Rome and other places yet. So Italy, Greece etc not in the plan for now Don't say you don't have enough time.
